Resort Information

4120' Elevation  *2000' Vertical  *  Kennebago Steeps! Casablanca Glades  *  Family Friendly

WINTER: Saddleback is bigger than you think. And different from the rest. Although we are one of New England's finest family ski resorts, we provide a high-elevation alpine experience with classic New England terrain and abundant snowfall. Our 2000 ft. vertical is greater than several well-known big resorts and our 4120 ft. mountain with summit snowfields is one of only 7 ski mountains in the New England that high. 66 trails and glades range from gentle beginner slopes to rugged double black diamonds in our Kennebago Steeps!, the largest steep skiing and riding facility in the East. We're an honest alternative to today's large resorts. SUMMER: Saddleback is in the heart of the legendary Rangeley Lakes Region which has attracted outdoors men and vacationers for 150 years -- numerous lakes and streams, extraordinary fishing, 2 golf courses, boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, events and the quaint towns of Rangeley and Oquossoc. We have Summer Stay & Play Packages that cover activities from Spring through Fall Foliage. At our Marina on Rangeley Lake there are slips for your own boat or you can rent fishing, touring or pontoon boats. Pristine lakes and mountains. Millions of acres of wilderness. This is the wild, unspoiled Maine -- "Where Wilderness and Recreation Meet". #1 OVERALL FAVORITE RESORT - Snow East 2012 Reader Survey #1 FAVORITE RESORT FOR GROOMING - Snow East 2012 Reader Survey Ranked TOP ADVENTURE MOUNTAIN in the East by SKI Magazine. #1 in VALUE * #2 in OVERALL SATISFACTION and CHARACTER. #4 IN SERVICE * #5 in SNOW * #6 in SCENERY -- SKI Magazine Reader Survey
