POWDERHOUSE HILL SKI AREA

Owned by the Town of South Berwick and operated by the all-volunteer Powderhouse Ski Club.  Open to the public.  Established in 1939, Powderhouse Hill Ski Area is Maine's southernmost ski & snowboard resort** and is the only facility of it's kind on The Seacoast!***

Season: December through March.  With no snowmaking, we must have snow to be open.

Operating Schedule*:  Wednesday & Friday, 7-9pm, Saturday & Sunday, Noon-4pm.

Cost: $5.00 per day, all ages, believe it or not!

Lift: 800-Foot Rope Tow

Slope: 175-Foot Vertical Drop!

Trails: 3

Groomer:  It's homemade but it works!

Rentals & Lessons:  Not offered at this time but sign up for our email list to stay informed!

Ammenities: Heated Lodge, Snackbar, and a Porta-Potty on-site!

*OUR PHILOSOPHY ON WHETHER TO OPEN OR NOT...if there's snow and we think people will come in the weather that's happening, we will be open!  If efforts to open are hampered by Mother Nature, mechanical failure, staffing levels, or other surprises, we'll change the recording on the Snow Phone as quickly as possible.  If the message on the machine doesn't state otherwise, we plan on being open!
