Gorman Chairback Lodge and Cabins
Located on the shore of Long Pond near Greenville, in Maine’s Moosehead Lake Region, and surrounded by 66,000-acres of AMC-owned conservation land, Gorman Chairback is the newest stop on AMC’s popular lodge-to-lodge ski route, as well as a spectacular wilderness destination on its own. Gorman Chairback offers unlimited opportunities for hiking and skiing on 70 miles of AMC-maintained trails, paddling and fishing for native brook trout, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of the region. Newly refurbished private cabins include queen beds, wood stoves, and gas lamps. Home-cooked meals are served in the main lodge.

Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins
Built in 1874, Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins offers a remote yet comfortable four-season retreat for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the spectacular mountains and wilderness of the Moosehead Lake region. Enjoy hiking, wildlife watching, paddling, fly fishing, skiing, and more at our traditional Maine sporting camp. Set within 37,000 acres of Appalachian Mountain Club conservation land, Little Lyford offers short walks along the Pleasant River and our pristine remote ponds, or more challenging hikes to Indian Mountain, Gulf Hagas, or the Appalachian Trail.

Medawisla Lodge and Cabins
Located on the pristine shores of beautiful Second Roach Pond in Maine’s famed 100-Mile Wilderness region, Medawisla Wilderness Lodge and Cabins offers a chance to recharge and connect with family and friends. A traditional Maine sporting camp, Medawisla, now surrounded by 29,500 acres of AMC conservation land, offers boundless opportunities for year-round adventure. Fish for land-locked salmon and brook trout, hike to views of Mount Katahdin, paddle Second Roach Pond, or ski our trails from your cabin door. With seven private cabins, Medawisla is AMC's pet-friendly destination. Please let us know if your pet will be accompanying you on your visit. Medawisla is open to the general public as part of the Maine Woods Initiative, AMC's strategy for protecting the 100-Mile Wilderness.
