COAST COUNTRY SKI & BIKE

Family oriented ski center with gently rolling forested trails for beginner and intermediate skill levels. Which has 12 km of trails for cross-country skiing, and 2 km of trails exclusively for snowshoeing. A total 4 km are designated for use with dogs. Trails are not designated but are marked on difficulty of the hills on each trail. Trails are not tracked, rental are available.
Five Field Farms

The trail systems start with the obvious loops around the orchard and connecting logging roads between them. Connecting links have been established with lands owned by Loon Echo on Bald Pate Mountain . While it is not possible presently to ski to the summit, a trek on snowshoes will yield a fine view which includes numerous ponds and lakes. The apple packing room is converted to a winter warming hut and clothes changing area. There is a limited number of snowshoes and skis for rent. Snacks are available sufficient to restore your energy after your time outside. Instruction and terrain is available to start the inexperienced outdoor enthusiast.
